Maintaining Peace and Quiet Inside the Village

Thursday, February 07, 2008 Posted by Admin No comments

Dear Co-villagers :

It has been observed that starting late last year our peaceful community has been invaded by a number of motorcycles with modified mufflers that create excessive noise causing vexation to us who value tranquility of surroundings. The owners of the subject motorcycles had been advised and reminded time and again by both our guards and admin staff to take the necessary steps to eliminate the disturbing noise that their vehicle creates. Five responded and complied. The BoD and admin staff wishes to thank them for their understanding and cooperation. Unfortunately, there are remaining eight (8) residents who continue to ignore and defy the advisory and reminders.

In response therefore to this continued defiance of there residents, the Board of Directors in its November 17, 2007 meeting has resolved that effective February 15, 2008 all vehicles (motorcycles, tricycles, cars, jeepneys) producing disturbing noise shall be DENIED ENTRY to the village.

A separate communication shall be issued to the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) servicing our village regarding this policy. We advise the commuting resident to bear this policy in mind when choosing a tricycle unit to bring them inside the village.

It would be best also that we advise our visitors ahead of time about this policy to ensure that their visit become smooth and enjoyable.

Let us all be one in working towards a peaceful and tranquil San Jose Village III.

Thank you and warm regard to all

Sincerely,

Andy de la Cruz
President

Trick-or-Treat in San Jose village 3

Monday, October 22, 2007 Posted by Admin No comments

"Halloween" and /or "Trick or Treat" can be traced back from different origins. Whatever it is, let's take advantage of our children's interest on this occasion to affirm our own deep faith in God's loving authority in all areas of our life and His approval of all that is good and helpful.

Let's choose to celebrate it in a positive and fun way by encouraging our children to wear funny, cute or colorful costumes (superheroes, cartoon characters, fairies, princess, cowboys, clowns, etc.)

All are enjoined to prepare candies, sweets, tokens, etc. for our "trick-o'-treating" kids!!!

Thank you!

"Talakayan" with Barangay Election Candidates"

Thursday, October 18, 2007 Posted by Admin , No comments
Dear Co-Villagers,

Your Homeowners Association has organized "Ang Talakayan" at the village clubhouse this Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 8:00am to 12:00nn. The primary aim of this forum is to introduce to our electorate the background, accomplishments, vision, platform of service and proposed projects of the candidates to the forthcoming Barangay Election.

We are also particularly interested to know the candidates stand/plans on the following important issues affecting our village;

1. Transport related concerns (Arrogance of some tricycle drivers; incidence of exorbitant extra charges; noisy mufflers; over speeding inside the village; grooming of tricycle drivers; discipline and sense of respect for the riding customers)

2. Communication link between the village and Barangay on security and emergency matters.

3. Availability of security and emergency support (ambulance, security patrol, Barangay tanods, etc.)

4. Health and sanitation (fumigation, garbage hauling, solid waste management)

5. Environment issues (smoke belching shuttle buses, grass fire prevention)

6. Crime prevention (illegal drugs, hold-ups, etc.)

We encourage all of you to join and participate in this endeavor so that we can have an enlightened and educated choice come Election day. Let us know our candidates by their integrity, objectivity and accomplishments for we deserve whoever we vote to office.

We are looking forward to meet all of you this Saturday, October 20, 2007.
