Resignations and New Directors

Monday, September 08, 2008 Posted by Admin , No comments
Fellow homeowners:

In the advent of the unexpected migration of the families of the two elected members of the Board Mmmes Veronica A. Jimenea and Marie Joy J. Quinal, the board has no recourse but to accept their resignation. To complete the seats that are now vacant, the Board has applied the provision of Article V.I. of the SJV III Homeowners Association's By-laws which provides:

"in case of vacancy in the Board of Directors due to resignation, death or any other cause, the Board is empowered and authorized to designate from among the non-delinquent members of the Association, a director or directors who shall serve the unexpired term of the director or directors being replaced or until a successor shall have been elected and qualified."
Considering such development, the Board has appointed Ms. Susan Leng-ay Blanco as Directress, Vice President and Chair of the Socio-Cultural Committee replacing Ms. Joy Quinal and Mr. Abel E. Madarang as Director and Treasurer replacing Ms. Veronica Jimenea, both shall serve the unexpired term until February, 2010 or until their successor(s) shall have been elected and qualified.

Consequently, the Association is inviting homeowners and resident who have the time and talent to share with the community to participate in the various committees such as: SPOC (Security, Peace and Order Committee), IVAC (Infrastructure Village and Aesthetic Committee), MSEC (Maintenace, Sanitation and Environmental Committee), Committee on Rules, Committee on Sports and Committee on Socio-Cultural Affairs.

We value your participation so we can collectively undertake the plans and objectives of the new Board with our predecessors - all for the good of the community, preservation of the village and appreciation of our investment. For those Interested, you may approach any of the officers of the Association or our Corporate Secretary so we can include your anme in the list.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Dear Co-Villagers,

Your Homeowners Association has organized "Ang Talakayan" at the village clubhouse this Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 8:00am to 12:00nn. The primary aim of this forum is to introduce to our electorate the background, accomplishments, vision, platform of service and proposed projects of the candidates to the forthcoming Barangay Election.

We are also particularly interested to know the candidates stand/plans on the following important issues affecting our village;

1. Transport related concerns (Arrogance of some tricycle drivers; incidence of exorbitant extra charges; noisy mufflers; over speeding inside the village; grooming of tricycle drivers; discipline and sense of respect for the riding customers)

2. Communication link between the village and Barangay on security and emergency matters.

3. Availability of security and emergency support (ambulance, security patrol, Barangay tanods, etc.)

4. Health and sanitation (fumigation, garbage hauling, solid waste management)

5. Environment issues (smoke belching shuttle buses, grass fire prevention)

6. Crime prevention (illegal drugs, hold-ups, etc.)

We encourage all of you to join and participate in this endeavor so that we can have an enlightened and educated choice come Election day. Let us know our candidates by their integrity, objectivity and accomplishments for we deserve whoever we vote to office.

We are looking forward to meet all of you this Saturday, October 20, 2007.
