A. GARBAGE SEGREGATION PROGRAM

As a continuation of the series of seminars on garbage segregation and proper waste disposal, we are pleased to advise you that this will continue on its regular schedule every last Saturday of each month. For October, the schedule is on Oct. 29, 2005 between 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. For those who have not attended yet, we hope that you will find time to sit down with us on this special project of the village.

Further, we would like to remind you that we have set-up a temporary composting container for biodegradable waste located at the back of the children's playground where you can deposit them daily between 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

B. MAY PERA SA BASURA

Likewise, The May Pera sa Basura will be scheduled every first Saturday of the month. The next schedule of garbage buying is on November 5, 2005. Just segregate and keep recyclable garbage and we will convert them into cash.

C. VILLAGE PERSONNEL

We are endorsing to you ENGR. CHERRIE MARASIGAN as our newly deployed Village Administratrix replacing Engr. Juriz Olivares. But Juriz will continue to render services to the Association as a reliever and support technical assistant to cherrie as maybe needed by the Association.

D. PAYMENT OF DUES

The year is about to end and we are reminding all those concerned to settle their unpaid dues in order to avoid the accumulation of penalty charges as well as the other sanctions imposed by the Association against non-paying members.

Cell Phone Units and Others

Sunday, June 05, 2005 Posted by Admin
Cell Phone Units and Others
(04.Jun.05)

We are pleased to advise you that the Association has recently acquired two units of pre-paid cell phones with Globe lines for access to -

1. SECURITY GUARDS with no. 0915-7828687
(activated for twenty-four hours)

2. ADMINISTRATION OFFICE with no. 0915-7828284
(activated from 9:00am - 6:00pm)

These cell phone units were purchased for the purpose of establishing for the Association official telephone numbers that the homeowners can access for specific instructions and inquiries. From now on, we are discouraging the use of any of the staff's personal cell phone numbers during their tour-of-duty.

Homeowners and Residents are advised to observe the following guidelines when communicating with the Village personnel through the SJVIII cell phone units:

1. Important instructions and messages to the guard should be made in voice calls and not through sms (text) so as to prevent miscommunication and misunderstanding

2. The load alloted per month for the Village personnel are very limited. If you will send a text message to them which you will require them to text back, please please pass them reply load (share-a-load) immediately after your text messages.

3. The cell phone unit for the guard is with the Officer-in-charge who is on roving most of the time. For this reason, do not expect immediate reply to your text messages because the guard might be attending to other more important job. Thus, voice calls are encouraged. This also applies to our administration people.

We are also proud to inform you that you can also visit th SJV III Homeowners Association's WEBSITE at www.sjv3.tk

The Association has also completed the installation of 10 asphalt humps along Sierra Madre, Cordillera and Apo Streets to prevent motorist from driving beyond the maximum allowable speed of 20 KPH. This speed limit had been established by the developer for the safety of all residents. These asphalt humps will be painted by next week to become more visible to motorists. The MAX 20 KPH signages will soon be posted also in strategic locations to remind motorists of the maximum speed limit that they should observe while driving in the village.

Thank you very much.

Village Project

Monday, March 07, 2005 Posted by Admin No comments
As you may have noticed, your Board of Directors has been pursuing various activities to enhance the quality of life in our village - e.g. landscaping, cleanliness, traffic and various security measure.

For this year, we have decided to embark on a major infrastructure program to increase the property values in our village by making our park an attractive place for parents and children to relax. We are currently considering in any one of the following projects:

- Covered basketball court
- Covered tennis court
- Centralized air-conditioning for the clubhouse to make it ideal for weddings, birthday parties, and other social occasion
- Swimming pool (both for kids and adults)

The above projects will be undertaken while we continue to pursue a conservative fiscal policy, without increasing dues. This will redound to the benefit of every unit-owner, both residents and non-residents, by increasing property values, encouraging construction and inviting families to move in and make our village their home.

Please e-mail us your suggestion regarding the above matter

Election and General Assembly

Thursday, February 10, 2005 Posted by Admin No comments
Dear Fellow Residents and Homeowners :

On February 19, 10 days from today our community will be electing the 5th member of the Board of Directors, taking the seat of Director Abel Madarang who has served our community with generosity and commitment despite the heavy demands of his job. Director Madarang has shared a lot of wisdom, borne out of experience, in many of our deliberations covering a lot of issues affecting our life as a community.

It is well for us to remember that our vote is our direct participation in determining the course of our community life. We should therefore exercise it with great responsibility. Needless to say, we ought to select men or women with unquestinoble integrity, competence, clarity of vision and purpose, dedication to service, self-leadership and discipline. It has been said that people deserve the kind of leader they choose. If we want order, peace, harmony, cooperation, unity and clear direction to define our life in our community then we should select leaders who espouse these values and not those who exhibit the contrary in their personal and public lives.

The four official nominees to the position; 1) Rommel Santos, 2) Joemar Abilay, 3) Marietta Baz, and 4) Antonio Tongco are all qualified to be voted to the office. Since only one will be elected, we need to be discerning in the process of making our choice. The Election Secretariat wiil soon be coming out with important communications that will help you get to know better the four candidates in terms of their background, and their vision for our community. It would be a lot helpful also if you will take the iniative to get to know each one by asking feedback from those who personally know them.

The Election will start at 9:00a.m. and close at 2:00p.m. Canvassing of votes and proclamation of the winner will immediately follow. The General Assembly and the President's report will start at 4:00p.m.

Come February 19, 2005, let us all go to the clubhouse and vote. The future of our community is in our hands.

Thank you and God Bless !
